Rewind the tape. It’s 1997. My best friend got his first car: a ‘91 Honda Prelude – sexy! I installed his stereo and speaker system – with a bass loud enough to shake (and antagonize) the whole neighborhood. Word got around – Justin Scarbrough can make your car boom.

One car turned into twenty or so. I liked putting them together, but I loved the way the music enhanced every experience for my friends. (Incubus will forever be the soundtrack to my Y2K memories.)

It’s been a 30+ year long love affair with sound. It’s taken me & my team on tours (with bands you’d probably recognize) as sound mixers, to SEC football stadiums and NBA arenas as integrators, and even across the globe to places like Australia, South Africa, Italy, and Switzerland as consultants.

I built the Auvio team with the best integrators and consultants I met along the way, a team that shares the same passion for A/V design and obsession with quality that I do. They’re some of the best guys around, and it makes the projects we build all the more satisfying.
